The Human Piñata
This week has been one of the best of my mission so far. Not because of a miracle of faith, moving of mountains, baptisms, or some other form of physical blessings. This week was a blessing by way of the Spirit and the love of God for me and His children. One of the ways that I've learned to have a better spirit with me as I get to hustle on down the streets of México is through my attitude, desire, and thoughts. Even though at times I feel like a piñata getting pummeled and curb stomped by a language barrier, inadequacies, and social interactions with strangers, I learned that I had a better, happier spirit as I thought more about our different investigators and how I could help them come unto Christ. As I practiced this with the help of my companion, we felt like we were truly doing the Lord's work and we loved doing it. I feel a strong spirit of this.
